Foundations and underground structures

If we leave out major catastrophes (natural or man-made), the main cause of structures decaying or exhibiting deficient behaviour can be directly or indirectly related to foundation flaws.

This is why foundation consolidation and strengthening techniques are so important when rehabilitating buildings and structures.

Stap has been acquiring valuable experience in the application of different foundation engineering techniques to consolidate and reinforce infrastructures. Stap has drilling equipment suitable for rock or soil, and is capable of working with: Injected mini-piles, root piles, anchoring, and nailing.

The modular design of this equipment, capable of passing through openings 0.7 m wide with a clearance of only 2.5 m, makes it ideal for consolidating existing constructions.
